Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the character for seven seasons of AMC's period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. She received critical acclaim as well as nominations for 6 Emmy Awards in the category of the best supporting actress. Since her time in the industry, which has spanned over two decades, she's earned her fame for her performance as a character in the legal thriller Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her voice is featured in movies like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River as well as the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. In addition, she has lent her voice to animated movies like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. It began her career as a model, and continued to be a model for several years, before making her television debut in the 1999 collection Undressed. The first major role she played was in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which was also praised due to her work in the well-known show Firefly.
